EPW World Title Three-Way Match
Since forming an alliance about a month back, Shawn Singleton and Oliver Ranken have been seemingly unstoppable. It was only a matter of time before the duo set their sights on the richest prize in the business, the EPW World Championship. On the September 3rd episode of RiOT, Oliver Ranken and Shawn Singleton approached Tom Conway, who was General Manager for the night and basically tricked him into booking a Three-Way Match at Total Chaos with Lantlas for the World Championship. With the pay-per-view match set, Oliver Ranken and Shawn Singleton would set their sights on Lantlas as they attempted to soften him up. Little did they know that friends of The Elven Warrior such as Alex Grey and Wormwood would stand up to The Final Threat. It looked like Ranken and Singleton were unstoppable until things came apart on the September 17th episode of RiOT. Oliver Ranken assaulted Wormwood, who had defeated him the previous week, on his way to meeting up with Richard Rush. We he finally found the boss, he demanded that the match at Total Chaos be made into a submission match. Oliver Ranken put his hands on Richard Rush as he continued to push the fact that he wanted the match changed. Suddenly, Wormwood would come out of the shadows, assaulting Oliver Ranken and inadvertently saving Richard Rush in the process. Having been fed up with Ranken’s attitude, Richard Rush thanked Wormwood and shocked the world as he replaced Oliver Ranken with Wormwood, making the match at Total Chaos a Three-Way between Lantlas, Wormwood and Shawn Singleton. Later on in the evening, Shawn Singleton would approach Oliver Ranken, upset about his actions and instead of attacking his partner, he would close the door in the face of Ranken claiming that he was not worth the trouble. With The Final Threat seemingly dissolved and Wormwood taking Oliver Ranken’s place at Total Chaos, it seems like the odds are now against Shawn Singleton. Although Wormwood and Lantlas have teamed up in the past, it will be every man for himself at the pay-per-view and when the World Championship is on the line, there are no friends. EPW Evolution Title Sadist Match
This whole feud really started when Upton Osgood and Alex Grey became number one contenders to Shawn Singleton’s Evolution Championship, when Grey pinned Singleton in a Tag Team Match last month before Breaking Point. Osgood didn’t take too kindly to Grey’s pin-fall victory that he reacted unprofessionally towards him. One month before Breaking Point, at Soul Survivor, Upton Osgood had lost the Evolution title to Kevin Richardson, and Osgood missed his chance two weeks later on RiOT! At Breaking Point, the name became apropos for Osgood—he reached his breaking point when he attacked Grey when Grey defeated Osgood to become the new Evolution Champion.Since then, Upton Osgood has done everything in his power to make Alex Grey’s life a living hell: he took him out of one RiOT!’s biggest Main Event Matches in recent memory two weeks ago—not to mention brutally beat his guest, Gavin Flynn, in front of a life crowd earlier in the evening—but Grey retaliated by costing Osgood a match against Donovan Darko just last week, with the help of Gavin Flynn. Now Osgood is through playing games, and last week, Osgood threw down the challenge of a Sadist Match, a match sanctioned from the now-defunct DWO. Is this the match that’ll help Osgood regain the Evolution title, or will Grey find a way to thwart Osgood and retain the title? There have been rumors that Alex Grey’s significant other, Mia, has been reported missing since RiOT! Did Osgood have a hand in Mia’s disappearance? Tune in to find out. This match may be for the weak at heart, so viewer discretion is advised. No Disqualifications Match
John Adams ended one heated feud at Breaking Point as he rid EPW of Devlin Rubis and seemingly Richard Rush as well, but he would be in for yet another challenge as he showed up for Aggression the following week.On the August 29th episode of Aggression, John Adams made his way down to the ring to issue another challenge to Richard Rush. Adams claimed that he was not finished with Rush and challenged him to one more match. The Prophet was surprised to see both Leeon Von Baron and Blackheart come out as they claimed that The Master had chosen his first victim and that it was John Adams himself. The Prophet was not going to let The Illuminati get to him as he challenged Von Baron and Blackheart to come down to the ring right then and there. Von Baron declined his challenge as he and Blackheart left to a chorus of boos. The following week on RiOT, John Adams would finally get his hands on Leeon Von Baron as he took him on in a Singles Match. John Adams had the match won until Blackheart came into the ring behind the referee’s back and struck Adams over the head with the sledgehammer, allowing for Von Baron to pick up the win. Furious, John Adams approached Tom Conway and demanded a match against Blackheart the following week which he got. On the September 10th episode of RiOT, John Adams would finally get his hands on Blackheart, but before he could finish him off, Leeon Von Baron would interfere in the match, allowing for John Adams to win by disqualification. Later in the night, John Adams and the returning Richard Rush met up backstage. The owner was in a wheel chair, claiming that Adams had severely injured him. As Adams prepared to finish off the boss, Richard Rush put a stop to it by proclaiming that The Prophet would lose his job and everything he has if he were to lay a finger on Rush. The owner of EPW then went on to book John Adams in a match for the following week’s show in which he would take on both Blackheart and Leeon Von Baron in a Handicap Match. On the September 17th episode of RiOT, John Adams fought a hard battle with Von Baron and Blackheart in which he came out the victor. After the match, The Prophet grabbed a chair as he prepared to further injure his opponents. Suddenly, the lights went out as flames surrounded the ring. John Adams looked up at the big screen as a dark shadow of a man proclaimed that the war was not over and that Adams must prepare to be put through hell at Total Chaos. At Total Chaos, John Adams will finally face this mysterious Master of the Illuminati that has been alluded to for months. Who will this mysterious man be and has Adams finally met his match? Four-Way Match Donovan Darko vs. Dean Mathers vs. Aaron Rain vs. Nacho GrandeOver the course of the last month, Donovan Darko, Aaron Rain and Nacho Grande have been impressive in their respective matches. In the huge Gauntlet Match on the August 29th episode of Aggression, all three men ended the match, outlasting the five others with Donovan Darko eventually winning in his EPW debut. On the opposite side of the coin, Dean Mathers has been in a huge slump ever since losing the Legacy Title to Wormwood on August 6th, losing countless matches including two Legacy Title shots. Tom Conway has since stood by Mathers in an attempt to rebuild his confidence as he has given him opportunity after opportunity in recent weeks. In Tom Conway’s one night as General Manager, he set up a Four-Way Match at Total Chaos where Donovan Darko, Aaron Rain, Nacho Grande and Dean Mathers will battle it out where the winner will get a shot at the Evolution Title. TWF Tag Team Title Match The Cromartie Bros. vs. Canadian Coolness CrewThe feud between The Canadian Coolness Crew and The Cromartie Bros. dates back to a few months ago when Jayson Mayne and Connor Banks began to protest EPW events due to what they claimed was unfair treatment. At the same time, The Cromartie Bros. had left to the Tokyo Wrestling Federation on a tour of Japan in which they came back to the United States with the TWF Tag Team Titles around their waists. Mayne and Banks were jealous of the treatment that Jonny and Marty received and they didn’t keep their disdain a secret.Over the course of the next few weeks, The Canadian Coolness Crew attempted to “get back” at The Cromartie Bros. by playing various pranks on the TWF Tag Champs all of which were unsuccessful. Mayne and Banks were eventually fired as Richard Rush grew tired of their antics and demanded that they stop protesting EPW events. On the August 29th episode of Aggression, The Cromartie Bros. were all set to take on Drunk Wrestlers Inc. in a match for the EPW Tag Team Championships when during the match, Connor Banks and Jayson Mayne came down to the ring dressed as hot dog vendors, stealing the TWF Tag Team Titles in the process. The following week on RiOT, Tom Conway took the helm as he was named General Manager of EPW for the night. Conway shook the foundation of EPW in just one night, giving The Canadian Coolness Crew their jobs back among other things. The only catch was that Mayne and Banks were forced to face The Cromartie Bros. that very night to determine who the true TWF Tag Team Champions are. The Canadian Coolness Crew lost the match, blaming Ciaran Kennedy for not interfering and helping them win. Over the course of the next couple of weeks, tensions between The Canadian Coolness Crew and Ciaran Kennedy mounted as they continued to blame him for all of their shortcomings. The feud between The Cromarties and The Crew also intensified as the two teams continued to cost each other matches from week-to-week. At Total Chaos, the two teams will settle the score once and for all as The Canadian Coolness Crew takes on The Cromartie Bros. once again for the Tokyo Wrestling Federation Tag Team Championships. "I Quit" Career Match Malcolm Dred-King vs. Wisdom BlackWisdom Black and Malcolm Dred-King have been at odds ever since they formed a team back in August. Things only got worse when the duo lost the EPW Tag Team Championships at Breaking Point. As the weeks went on, things continued to get very personal between the two men who have a long and storied history outside of EPW.In every previous instance that the two have faced each other in a one-on-one encounter, Malcolm Dred-King has found himself the victor. At Total Chaos, one man will be left standing as the other man will utter the words, "I Quit" and never be seen in EPW again. No Time Limit Match Van Jahan Surgoth vs. Johnny LexiconOn the September 10th episode of RiOT, newcomers Van Jahan Surgoth and Johnny Lexicon when head-to-head in one of the most intense matches in EPW history. Surgoth was all set to earn what appeared to be a three-count on his opponent as the bell suddenly sounded, signifying that the match had reached its time limit. In order to settle the score once-and-for-all, Van Jahan Surgoth will take on Johnny Lexicon at Total Chaos in a match where there will be no time limits. Singles Match Heavy Metal vs. Delta 9On the September 17th episode of RiOT, Delta 9 claimed that EPW needed to be cleansed of its sins as he then assaulted Dennis Dorman, carving “PRI” into his chest. Before Delta 9 could do any further damage to the EPW interviewer, Heavy Metal charged down to the ring, coming to the rescue of DormanRichard Rush booked Delta 9 vs. Heavy Metal as a last minute addition to Total Chaos. Rush also stated that this match will serve as yet another tryout for Heavy Metal, who is still without a contract. |
