Character Creation
1. At any one time in EPW, you may only have one singles wrestler or a tag team featuring two wrestlers. Only veterans and people who can be trusted to handle the task of having multiple characters will be allowed to do so.
2. We only accept orignal wrestlers. No real wrestlers, celebrities or cheap rip-offs of real wrestlers will be allowed into EPW.
3. We will not accept any application for a wrestler who is too similar to a current or former EPW superstar.
4. After applying, please allow 2-5 days to allow for one of the staff members to respond.
5. Once accepted into EPW, you will be given a password for the roleplay board and will be expected to join the community forums as well.
6. If you "no-show" two events within your first month with EPW, you will be removed from the roster.

Roleplaying
1. To post a roleplay, log into the roleplay board at http://epw.e-wrestling.org/backstage/, using the password and username that you were provided with upon joining EPW.
2. The roleplay limit for each match that you are booked in is one. No less, no more. You may choose to post more than one RP, but must specific which one you want to count toward the match before you post it. Please post on the EPW Forums, stating if a roleplay is for character development or not. Do not post out of character messages in your roleplay.
3. You shouldn't use or attack another wrestler or staff member without first getting their permission. You may however use official EPW interviewers for the sake of being interviewed as long as you do not attack the person without permission.
4. Do not use excessive profanity within a roleplay. It is alright to use profanity when the situation warrants it, but the more obscene of the "curse words" should definately be limited to once in a long while. If a roleplay has extremely excessive profanity, it will count against your chances of winning the match.
5. It is not expected that you mention your opponent in each roleplay as it may be hard to write a story about your character and have to tie in his wrestling career as it might not always transition well. Whether you choose to mention the match or not, it will not count against you.
6. All roleplays must be posted before the deadline of the show in which it is for in order for it to count. There will be no exceptions other than if the deadline is extended for whatever reason.
7. Insider wrestling terms such as "jobber", should not be used except for on the rare occassion. You should never break character in a roleplay nor address another character by the handler's name. Do not blast opponents for spelling mistakes or typos, as a roleplay is meant to be an interview and not a script.
8. If for some reason you are not able to roleplay due to personal problems or something of that nature, email one of the staff members saying how long you are going to be gone and the reason for your absence. We will try to work out a storyline to explain your character's absence.

Challenges & Matches
1. You are allowed to issue challenges when not involved with anything else, but it is suggested that you challenge someone else who is not involved in a storyline. If you would like to get involved in a storyline, contact the appropriate staff member.
2. Avoid setting up "gimmick" matches often as most matches on EPW television shows are normal rules or slight variations in the rules. If you have a good idea for a gimmick match, then save it for the pay-per-view as that is the place for such matches.
3. The winners of non-angled matches are determined by quality of roleplay.
4. Backstage attacks and other segments for the show should be sent in before the roleplaying deadline for the specific event. Just because you send something in doesn't mean that it will get used. If it is not good, doesn't make sense or if something else is going on then it will not be used.
5. Another thing that can determine what direction your character takes is your push. Your push is determined by your cooperation and participation in Evolution Pro Wrestling. More prestigious wrestlers will usually have a better chance of winning. In other words, wrestlers who work well with others and are willing to put others over will have better chances of winning. Wrestlers who add things to the league will also receive more of a push. A push can mean everything to your chances of winning. Everyone will be treated fairly with their push, if you work hard and accept things, you will be pushed in accordance to what you have given. It's important to understand that you cannot win every single match, even if you think that you deserved it that week. Sometimes we have plans that expand more than just one week. If you would like to discuss your push, please email Gary Liebler.

Championships
1. All titles can only change hands by pin-fall or submission unless otherwise noticed. You cannot award a title to someone else unless agreed upon for storyline purposes. Otherwise, if you choose to give up a title, it will be proclaimed vacant, or we will have you drop the title in a match to another superstar.
2. The EPW World Title is reserved for the top superstar in the federation. The man that can be trusted in carrying the belt and representing the fed in a respectable manner is the man who will hold the title. A lot of work goes into becoming EPW World Champion and you shouldn't expect to win the title in your first months with the company.

General Rules & Notes
1. A member who works well with others and cooperates with the staff is far more likely to succeed than one who is constantly complaining and flaming others on the forums.
2. Do not do things in a roleplay or segment that are completely unrealistic. Also, don't suggest gimmick matches that go so far as that there is no way that they would happen in real life.
3. The general match rules for Evolution Pro Wrestling matches are that of the traditional wrestling match with a slight relaxing of the rules.
4. Don't be stubborn. If you need help, ask for it. There are plenty of people within EPW that will be willing to help you out.
5. Don't go around changing groups and making new ones left and right. Try to stick to a storyline for a while.
6. All wrestlers, upon entering the federation, become the intellectual property of the Evolution Pro Wrestling. If your character leaves the federation, we reserve the right to retain the character to be used in order to finish an angle and/or wrestle a final match.
|

Poser Images
1. Do not inquire about your wrestler's poser image. The poser artist(s) have better things to do than listen to you ask every other day when it will be done or when it will be worked on. There is a set structure to the order that poser images get done and you will only be moved down the list by pestering the poser artists.
2. Poser images get done in the order that a poser image that is easier to create will get done before ones that require greater detail. In turn, people who have accomplished more in EPW will get their poser images done before others as well.
3. Your poser image is, and will always be property of EPW. It is not to be used for other federations, even if modified.
